Astrid Griffiths

Astrid grew up in Norway and came to London in 1985 to study graphic design.

She did a Foundation Course at Saint Martin's School of Art and a BA (Hons) Degree at Chelsea School of Art.

After college she worked freelance in a few London agencies before setting up Økvik Design in 1992.

Since then she has worked closely with a wide variety of clients, and believes it is vital to understand the client's requirements really thoroughly; only then is it possible to help give them a commercial edge through design.

Astrid collaborates with other designers and commissions illustration work and other specialist skills when required.
